🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Lewis County Transit is in the commissioning phase for its hydrogen fueling station, which is part of the county's Zero Emission Transition Plan. The station, the only one of its kind in southwest Washington, requires all components to be checked and connected properly before operation.

The transit agency also announced multiple service changes: all stops on W. 1st St. in Centralia are closed from June 15 to July 15 for construction, the Purple Route's Exit 63 stop has moved to a new Winlock Exit 63 Park & Ride, and the Exit 77 Park & Ride in Chehalis will close for construction beginning June 8, 2026, with a three-month closure expected through September.
