Hydrogen Station Commissioning, Transit Stops Closed

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Lewis County Transit announced the Hydrogen Fueling Station is in commissioning phase, with vendors completing component checks for electrolyzer, compression, storage, and dispensing systems. The station, the only one in southwest Washington, is expected to support the county's Zero-Emissions fleet once fully operational.

All bus stops on W. 1st St. in Centralia remain closed through July 15 due to construction, and the Purple Route's Exit 63 stop has been moved to Winlock Exit 63 Park & Ride. Exit 77 Park & Ride in Chehalis will close for three months starting June 8 for renovations to become the Main Street e-Transit Station, with alternative stops at Mellen Street and Exit 68.
