I-405 and I-5 lane closures scheduled for Sept. 3-4

WSDOT will close up to two lanes of southbound I-405 from milepost 12 to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast from 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4. The closure is part of ongoing construction on the highway.

I-5 will also see reduced lanes during overnight hours from Monday, Aug. 31, through Friday, Sept. 4. Northbound I-5 will have a single lane from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly near Alger/Lake Samish Road (exit 240) for fish passage construction. A similar closure will affect the left lane of northbound I-5 north of North Lake Samish (exit 246) during the same timeframe.
