I-405, SR 9 closures this weekend

I-405 will have overnight closures from milepost 14. 25 to 12. 5 southbound and from Northeast 85th Street to 100th Street northbound, starting Friday night, Aug. 28, through Monday morning, Aug. 31. SR 9 will have alternating traffic through a bypass road near Kalloch Road for 42 days until Sept. 14, and alternating traffic Mondays through Thursdays near Mount Vernon Big Lake Road through Sept. 3. The closures are for fish passage construction on SR 9 and highway maintenance on I-405 and SR 599. WSDOT notes delays are expected in affected areas.
