I-5, SR 6 Work Continues in Centralia–Chehalis Area

Nightly lane closures on southbound I-5 near Centralia begin Sunday evening, Sept. 13, and will continue through Wednesday, Sept. 16. The right lane between milepost 83 and Mellen Street will close for guardrail repairs, and the Harrison Avenue on-ramp will also be closed.

Several other projects are active this week, including a paving project on I-5 near Grand Mound that will wrap up in October, and single-lane traffic on SR 6 between Clinton Road and Twin Oaks Road for water main replacement. Flaggers will direct traffic during weekday work hours on SR 6 between Sept. 14 and Oct. 12. Tree trimming work on SR 6 near Rainbow Falls State Park will also continue through Sept. 30.
