SR 169 Closure for Fish Barrier Removal

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Both directions of State Route 169 will close between Southeast 332nd Street and Plass Road near Jones Lake starting at 12:01 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, for 35 days to remove a fish barrier.

The closure, effective through 5 a.m. Sept. 21, will include signed detours. Local access north and south of the closure remains permitted, and businesses along SR 169 will stay open.

WSDOT notes the project aims to improve fish passage in the area, a common focus for infrastructure upgrades near waterways.
