Transit Changes Affect Centralia-Chehalis Routes

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Lewis County Transit will close all fixed routes and DARTT services on July 4, 2026, for Independence Day, operating a special shuttle between Centralia and Chehalis instead.

Construction closures include all W. 1st St. stops in Centralia from June 15 to July 15, and the Exit 77 Park & Ride in Chehalis, which will close June 8 for a three-month renovation project to become the Main Street e-Transit Station.

The Exit 63 Purple Route stop has moved to a new Winlock Exit 63 Park & Ride, and the Ground Mound Park and Ride and Stan Hedwall stops are closed as of January 26, 2026, due to deteriorating conditions and low usage.
